The applicant receives a taxpayer number, opens a bank account and buys shares of the fund. Then collects
documents for a residence permit and submit an application and biometrics.
- Tax Efficiency
Venture capital funds are a tax-efficient vehicle – dividends and capital gains returned to investors may be tax-exempt. Some cases allow for exemptions to withhold tax on income generated through the fund, especially if the
investors are not tax residents in the country.

The annual yields and eventual capital gains may be significantly higher than other investment funds related to
Golden Visa Program, depending on the focus of the investment fund.
HQA Visa
- Introduction
HQA (Highly Qualified Activity) Visa gives third country nationals the opportunity to establish their own company
in Portugal by investing EUR 170.000 in their new business. The business must take part in a government-approved incubator program for the first three years but there are no job creation or business performance
requirements.

- The main applicant must be at least 18 years old;

Marriage Registration
- Introduction

- Valid passports or resident permits plus the divorce certificate (if previously married);
- Certificate of no impediment to marriage showing you are allowed to get married.
Spouse Residence Permit
- Introduction
Only immediate family members of residence permit holders or citizenship can apply for a family visa. The Portugal family visa is valid for the duration of the sponsor’s residence permit. In cases where the couple has been married
for five years, the initial residence permit is valid for two years and an autonomous visa is granted that is valid for
three years and renewable every three years.After 5 years of continuous living in Portugal you can apply for a
permanent residence. The residence is infinite but must be renewed every five years. After five years of living in
Portugal, you may apply for citizenship. You need to submit proof of having learned the language and proof that
you are not under investigation or convicted of any crimes.

- Documentary proof certifying the entitlement to Family Reunification by a foreign citizen holder of a Residence Permit, an EU Blue Card, or the long-term resident status;
- Authenticated supporting documents proving the family links invoked;
- Authenticated copies of the identification documents of the applicants family members;
- Evidence that the applicant has adequate accommodation;
- Documentary evidence of adequate subsistence means for the applicant and for the family;
- Extract from the judicial record in the country of origin or of provenance of the family member (where the family member has been residing for a period exceeding one year) except for under 16 years old.
Company Registration
- Introduction
